If you’ve read the dedications in Dreaming of Provence and Wishing in Rome, you know from the dedications that I recently lost my mom and her very good friend within a month of each other. I wrote the first draft of Dancing in Ireland before Mom passed, and it’s been waiting there for me to edit. This book is so special to my heart because there’s so much of my mother in it, from the phrase “I’m a bit peckish” to games of Scrabble and Skip-Bo to the Silly Sausage Club. I hope you’ll find the story special too.
