It’s not too early to start planning for Valentine’s! In fact, I think the earlier the better. Then we can leave little hints with our SO about what we’d really like. This year, it’s on Sunday, so we can have a date all day long and into the evening! Here’s what I’d love to do. First, he packs me a picnic and we take the dog up along the trail in our nearby state park to eat a picnic lunch along the ridge overlooking the Santa Cruz bay. Actually, it’s really the top of the Monterey Bay. Of course, we have to hope it’s not raining and the sun is shining! Then, after that long uphill hike, he’s booked an afternoon at the local spa, complete with a massage for our aching muscles followed by a nice long soak in the Jacuzzi. The attendants bring us champagne and a plate of grapes and blueberries and strawberries and melon to eat while we’re luxuriating. Oh, this is the most delicious Valentine’s.
So tell, if you dare, what your dream date would be!
Just a little promo. Jan 25th, I’ll be blogging on http://romanticcrushjunkies.blogspot.com/. Stop by and leave a comment for a chance to win a copy of JB Skully’s Dead to the Max. Yup, she’s me, too, or I’m her, depending on how you look at it. Feb 2, Laced with Desire arrives in bookstores and I’ll be crossblogging with my coauthors on Feb 1st. So you can take a trip through all our blogs for the chance to win lots and lots of prizes! Hope to see you all there!
Jasmine, Jennifer and JB!

Have a great day, everyone!
My dream date would would be a nice dinner at home with my husband.
Me, a dimly lit corner, and "Laced with Desire"...and a white Russian to sip on.
Don't let Rita fool you...she loves dinner with her hubby at a beautiful restaurant in Ann Arbor called the Gandy Dancer...and will be enjoying that date on their anniversary - as they do every year around this time!
Thank you so much
My dream date would be a cozy little corner with a nice candle lit dinner! I am pretty easy to please!

Oh Rita, you're so sweet!
Debby, you're welcome!
And I love the everyone's idea of a nice dinner out with the hubby. Those are the special times! And candlelight!
I've got to send a test out, ladies, because I don't seem to be getting my emails.
Kirsten, that sounds like a great date!
I love picnics and I have dreamed of a picnic at a particular spot for years, but have never msde it. While touring the Battleship Texas moored at San Jacinto Battlegrounds I also walked down to the edge of the water and watched the ships come slowly past. There is a sloped area next to the water that would be the ideal spot for a picnic. The water is the entrance to the Port of Houston so there are always ships, barges, etc., coming and going. Taking hubby and spreading a quilt on that slope, then enjoying a leisurely picnic as the ships from countries all over the world glide slowly by would be heavenly.
Happy Valentine's Day to all!
My dream date would be wherever & whenever my man was there. Wine, candles & sweet nothings.

I love watching the stars so my dream date would be to go out on a drive at night and park at one of the stopovers in the countryside to watch the sky, cuddling together! :o)

My dream date would consist of a romantic dinner, movie and bed (with my hubby) in that order. Happy Valentine's day Jasmine.
My dream date was when he took me up to the cross above our town and we sat there watching the sun go down. All the car lights of people coming and going about their evening and we sat up there and just watched for a while and then we went home. And the rest is private.
thank you, everyone! Those are all such perfect dates!
I'm off to randomly select the winner! Back in a bit!
